In 1859, Dr. James Wilson, a practicing physician, became the charter Worshipful Master of Plano Lodge #235 in Plano, Texas. Also an active member of the subsequent Plano Lodge #768, he served as charter Secretary there in 1894 and as Worshipful Master in 1901. He compiled this work shortly before his death in 1905.
