Originally published in 1908, the Taylor-Hamilton Monitor of Symbolic Masonry is a revision of Taylor's Manual of Freemasonry. Taylor's Monitor was the first monitor or guide written exclusively for Texas Freemasons. Nearly 50 years later, Sam R. Hamilton introduced this updated edition, having rearranged and revised the original to remove typographical and grammatical errors as well as to bring the language into harmony with the practices of his day.
